PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion adhesive excellent in adhesion to a substrate or the like and also excellent in water resistance.SOLUTION: The emulsion adhesive of the present invention contains an adhesive polymer whose terminal is modified with a surfactant having a functional group which generates radicals by energy ray irradiation. The functional group which generates radicals by energy ray irradiation is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of an N,N-dialkyldithiocarbamylmethyl group, a benzophenone group, a camphorquinone group, and a phenylazide group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
