PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase bridge inverter circuit which prevents a surge current from being generated.SOLUTION: In a three-phase bridge inverter circuit, a control circuit performs: first control for alternately turning on and turning off an inverter element while interposing a dormant period in such a manner that a predetermined output current is provided; second control for turning on a regenerative switch element synchronously with ON timing of the switch element, thereby regenerating charge that is stored in a snubber capacitor during the dormant period, in a power source; third control for stopping the second control during a period in which the output current is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold value; and fourth control for stopping the second control during a period in which the output current flows through an antiparallel diode which is connected to the inverter element in anti-parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
