PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-type vertical filling/packaging machine which inhibits the occurrence of a straw and does not cause the occurrence of a defective product at a high packaging speed.SOLUTION: In a roll-type vertical filling/packaging machine, a packaging film which is folded and continuously transferred downward from above is subjected to vertical sealing and horizontal sealing by a vertical seal roll and a horizontal seal roll to form a cylindrical packaging bag, and a liquid or powder raw material is filled into the cylindrical packaging bag by using a filling device. Then, an opening part for filling is subjected to horizontal sealing to be sealed, thereby forming an airtight continuous package. The vicinity of a horizontal seal center in the continuous package is cut for separation by a cutter device to make an individual package. In addition, at a position between the vertical seal roll and the horizontal seal roll, the folded side of the packaging film is put between a pair of rotatable rolls so that inner surfaces on the folded side of the packaging film are brought into contact with each other without forming a gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
