PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to obtain a focused image with an imaging angle intended by an operator.SOLUTION: An acquisition unit acquires focus area information that indicates a position of a gazing point. A control unit changes an imaging angle of a video microscope imaging the gazing point, without changing a distance between the video microscope and the gazing point, on the basis of user movement and the focus area information. This disclosure is applicable, e.g., to an electric arm of a medical observation system that comprises a head mounted display, the electric arm and the video microscope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
