To provide a device and method for measuring a skin sagging amount for objectively evaluating manipulation therapy associated with beauty and intervention effect such as perfumery.SOLUTION: A skin sagging amount measuring method is provided as follows: a transparent thin film drawing multiple marks for giving physical coordinates is made to adhere on the skin surface to be measured and is photographed by a digital photographing device; a regression equation using a least square method is found from the value of the physical coordinates of the multiple marks projected on a digital image and the image pixel value of each mark; the pixel value of the place desired to be measured from the digital image is input in the regression equation and the coordinates are converted, and the physical coordinates on the skin surface are found; a figure drawn with a choke line on the skin surface in a horizontal position is marked by using a skin sagging amount measuring device configured to measure the length and area of the skin surface, and then the digital image is photographed; then, the figure deformed by the sagging of the skin is photographed again in the gravity loaded condition in a vertical position; and a ratio or a difference of the area of the figure in the two postures of the horizontal position and the vertical position obtained is measured as the sagging amount of the skin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
