PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tab for opening a can that can maintain strength of the tab for opening a can without impairing a finger hooking property of the tab, a can lid, a can and a manufacturing method for a tab for opening a can.SOLUTION: A tab 1 for opening a can comprises: a pull-up part 17, provided in a rear end part arranged at the opposite side across a firmly-fixed part 12 of a tab main body 11 with respect to a push-down part 16, which is pulled up from a can lid main body 2 in order to push down the push-down part 16; and a tab panel 14, provided between the pull-up part 17 and the firmly-fixed part 12, whose upper surface is formed in a recessed shape so that the part protrudes toward the lower surface thereof. The pull-up part 17 is formed by a shape in which a peripheral edge part 19 of the tab main body 11 is folded back toward the lower surface thereof. On a center line passing through a center of a rivet hole 15 of the tab main body 11 and a tip of the push-down part 16, a thickness t2 between an upper surface 17a of the pull-up part 17 and a backside 14c of the tab panel 14 is set to be larger than a thickness t1 between an upper surface 17a of the pull-up part 17 and a lower end E of a folded-back end surface 17b of the pull-up part 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
