PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chat management method capable of automatically generating an answer according to a user's future intention in a situation where a series of plural questions are asked. SOLUTION: In a first process, a terminal device side accepts a question. In the second step, the device infers the current intent corresponding to the question. In the third step, the device stores in advance a history of past intentions associated with the terminal device, and stores the past intention history by referring to the relationship between the past intention history and the future intention. The future intention is predicted based on the saved past history. In a fourth step, the device generates an answer based on the present intention and the predicted future intention.
