PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an automatic accompaniment device into which an automatic accompaniment is input based on fill-in accompaniment element data at an appropriate timing without disturbing user's performance; an accompaniment data generating program; and an accompaniment data generating method.SOLUTION: A first use accompaniment element data determination unit 41 determines, as first use accompaniment element data, a plurality of pieces of basic accompaniment element data which should individually start to be used from a first use starting position in a performed musical piece on the basis of music piece composing data. A second use accompaniment element data determination unit 42 determines, as second use accompaniment element data, one or more pieces of fill-in accompaniment element data which should individually stop being used at starting positions of one or more sections in the performed musical piece. A starting position determination unit 27 determines a second starting position where the second use accompaniment element data should start to be used, based on an element of musical performance data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
