PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate structure and a construction method for the same, and a stile protection member, which can prevent/inhibit damage to a stile material, even when the stile material such as a front stile is formed from a brittle fracture member.SOLUTION: A top plate structure A includes a top plate 3, a top plate-side backside reinforcing material 4 that is arranged in such a manner as to overlap the backside of the top plate 3 and a stile material 5 that is arranged in a vertical direction T1 in such a manner that an upper end abuts on the end-side backside of the top plate 3, and/or includes a stile protection member 10 that is arranged in such a manner as to overlap the backside of the stile material 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
