PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a stator core of a rotary electric machine to which a skew is applied at low cost.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a stator core of the present invention is for manufacturing a stator core 1 by using a first jig 50 and a second jig 60. The first jig 50 comprises a plurality of guide poles 51. Each guide pole 51 comprises a guide surface 55 contacted to an external edge part 11 of a stator core piece 10 constituting the stator core 1, and a guide groove 56 or a guide projecting line 56'. The guide groove 56 or the guide projecting line 56' are engaged with a projection part 14 or a convex part 14' formed in the stator core piece 10. The stator core pieces 10 included in some layers of the stator core pieces 10 constituting a stator core main body 20 is overlapped by using the first jig 50. An inner edge part 12 of at least a part of the stator core pieces 10 rotates the second jig 60 in a vertical axial rotation in a state of being energized by energizing means of the second jig 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
