PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a riding type tea leaf plucking machine that plucks and collects tea leaves.SOLUTION: A riding type tea leaf plucking machine 1 has a hair clipper blade 11 provided forward in the lower side of a portal type machine body 3 and reaping tea ridges, a conveying duct 8 provided at the upper side of the hair clipper blade 11 and blowing up tea leaves by pressure wind and conveying them, and a flow duct 9 for supplying the pressure wind blown up by blowing the pressure wind from between the rear bottom edge of the conveying duct 8 and the hair clipper blade 11 toward the inside of the conveying duct 8. The conveying duct 8 has a lower common duct part 17 provided directly on the hair clipper blade 11, a right branch duct part 13 and a left branch duct part 14 provided on the lower common duct part 17, and a partition plate 18 for partitioning from a central coupling portion where the right branch duct part is coupled with the left branch duct part to the direct top of the hair clipper blade 11. The leading edge of the partition plate 18 arrives at a front/rear position being the same as the leading edge of the hair clipper blade 11 or a position becoming more front side than the leading edge of the hair clipper blade 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
