To provide an apparatus and the like for estimating an improvement factor of a service scenario from user's activity objects.SOLUTION: An activity analysis apparatus for analyzing activities of a user from a video image shot by a camera, has: service scenario registering means for registering a service scenario (procedure) in which activity objects associated with an activity time are arranged in time sequence; activity object estimating means for successively estimating an activity object of a user from the video image; scenario activity determining means for determining, with respect to the service scenario, to which the estimated activity object is classified, a first improper activity which is transferred to an activity object different from the time sequence, a second improper activity whose activity time is equal to or longer than the activity time, or proper activities other than them; and activity factor estimating means for, when it is determined, based on activity results of a plurality of users, that as to the same service scenario, the number of users of the first improper activity is equal to or larger than a predetermined condition or that the number of the users of the second improper activity is equal to or larger than the predetermined condition, estimating that the service scenario itself has an improvement factor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
