PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generation tube having high reliability, which has an insulation tube having an identification pattern portion formed therein and suppressed in positional fluctuation or deformation of a focal point, and an X-ray generation apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: An X-ray generation tube 1 having a transmission type target as an end window, includes: an insulating tube 2; a cathode 4 which is connected to one end of the insulating tube 2 in a tube axis direction (x direction) and has an electron emitting portion 4c; and an anode 5 having a target 5b, which is connected to the other end of the insulating tube 2 in the tube axis direction and generates X-rays upon irradiation of electrons. X-rays are generated while the output intensity thereof is controlled by the irradiation amount of an electron beam to the target 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
