The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a metal plate in which the occurrence of surface roughening is suppressed; a method for manufacturing the metal plate; a method for manufacturing a metal plate-molded article; and a metal plate-molded article. Provided are: a metal plate having a surface satisfying condition (a1), (b1) or (C); and a method for manufacturing the metal plate. Also provided are: a method for manufacturing a metal plate-molded article using the metal plate; and a metal plate-molded article. (a1) The area fraction of crystal grains having a crystal orientation separated from the {111} plane by at least 20° and from the {001} plane by at least 20° is 0.25-0.35, and the average crystal grain size is less than 16 µm. (b1) The area fraction of crystal grains having a crystal orientation separated from the {111} plane by at least 20° and from the {001} plane by at least 20° is 0.15-0.30, and the average crystal grain size is at least 16 µm. (c1) The area fraction of crystal grains in which the value of the Taylor factor during plane strain tensile deformation in the transverse direction is 3.0-3.4 is 0.18-0.40.
