The present invention relates to a technology for determining a smile degree by region, and is used in the field of internet of things (IoT) or the like. A server device 200 acquires an image including persons taken by a camera 100. The server device 200 determines smiling persons by analyzing the acquired image. On the basis of the result of the determination, the server device 200 calculates and displays a smile degree by region. Here, the smile degree is an indicator by which the number of smiling persons can be compared by region, and is, for example, the proportion of the total number of smiling persons determined per day in a region to the population of the region.
