PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bi-static active sonar device preventing the deterioration of a correlation result and capable of enhancing a target detection performance, and to provide a receiver thereof.SOLUTION: A bi-static active sonar device includes: a transmitter for transmitting a sound signal; and a receiver for receiving a signal and extracting a reflection signal which is generated by the sound signal transmitted from the transmitter from among the received signals by reflecting on an object. The receiver includes: a replica creating device for creating a plurality of replica waveforms of the sound signal after the Doppler shift generated from the transmission to the reception according to a plurality of assumption speeds of the object; a correlator for correlatively processing the received signal and the replica waveform; and a signal detector for extracting a reflection signal based on a correlation result of the correlator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
