UNDERGROUND BURIED TYPE REINFORCED PLASTIC LINING DOUBLE SHELL TANK

To obtain an underground buried type reinforced plastic lining double shell tank capable of detecting damage of an outer shell always or at set time intervals, according to the tank comprising means capable of always detecting damage of an inner shell.SOLUTION: There are provided a compression/decompression device 10 for compressing or decompressing an inside of a gap 2 between an inner shell 1 and an outer shell 3, a controller 8 for operating the compression/decompression device at time intervals having been set, and a pressure sensor 16 for detecting pressure fluctuation in the inside of the gap 2 during compression/decompression or after the compression/decompression. The pressure fluctuation detected by the pressure sensor 16 is compared with a threshold value set at the controller 8 to determine presence/absence of damage. Then, when a liquid sensor 52 in a detector tube 51 does not detect a content, the outer shell 3 is considered as being damaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
