To provide a business-to-business order placement/reception system that has improved a situation in which an order reception function of a sales web in B2B transaction is not effectively used and is easy to use like a sales web for B2C transaction.SOLUTION: A business-to-business order placement/reception system includes: first means for transmitting a temporary order from an order receiving company to an order placing company when a purchase applicant with the order placing company places a temporary order to a sales web server of the order receiving company; second means for a purchasing person with the order placing company to transmit a new order to the order receiving company when the temporary order is transmitted to the order placing company; and third means for responding to order reception when the order receiving company receives the order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
