PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a new and improved method for manufacturing a polyene based polarizing film, capable of safely forming PVA into polyene at a low cost; a polyene based polarizing film; a laminated polarizing film; and a display device.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a polyene based polarizing film comprises: a first step of preparing a first film including a first polyvinyl alcohol layer and a second film; a second step of press-bonding the surface of the polyvinyl alcohol layer of the first film and the second film and supplying an acid catalyst aqueous solution to an interface between the surface of the polyvinyl alcohol layer of the first film and the second film; and a third step of forming a press-bonded body obtained by press-bonding the first and second films into polyene.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
