PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method for a seismic isolation bearing, the method being capable of correcting a bolt hole's positional deviation in a direction around an axis of the seismic isolation bearing, and a twist adjustment tool used for the method.SOLUTION: A twist adjustment tool 5 is fitted to two locations facing each other so that a seismic isolation bearing 1 is interposed between the locations. The twist adjustment tool 5 comprises: a lower side member 51 to be mounted on a lower side flange 12 of the seismic isolation bearing 1; and an upper side member 52 to be mounted on an upper side flange 13 of the seismic isolation bearing 1; the members being assembled so as to be relatively movable horizontally. Next, the lower side member 51 and the upper side member 52 are made to horizontally move relatively so that a pair of pieces of force F1, F2 that are in parallel with each other and are directed in directions reverse to each other act on the lower side flange 12 or the upper side flange 13. By using subsequent relative rotation between the lower side flange 12 and the upper side flange 13, a twist of the seismic isolation bearing 1 is adjusted. After that, the lower side flange 12 and the upper side flange 13 are made to be in a state where the lower side flange and the upper side flange are fixed to a building foundation 2 and a building body 3, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
