PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic driving system and a control method for an automatic driving system that allow a vehicle to pass through a target point after obtaining determination of passing at the target point from a driver.;SOLUTION: An automatic driving system that performs an automatic driving of a vehicle comprises: a trigger input requesting unit for performing a trigger input request for a vehicle driver to request a trigger input for the vehicle to pass through a target point when a vehicle under automatic driving approaches a preset target point located on a driving route of the vehicle; a trigger input detector for detecting the trigger input by the driver; and a vehicle control unit that causes the vehicle to pass through the target point when the trigger input is detected, and decelerates the vehicle and stops it without passing through the target point when the trigger input is not detected.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
