PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visualize properties of instantaneous heart rate measured during a period.SOLUTION: An instantaneous heart rate evaluation device in the embodiment has: extraction means which extracts electrocardiographic R waves on the basis of a signal outputted by electrocardiographic measurement means measuring a subject's electrocardiograph; calculation means which calculates at least two instantaneous heart rates to be intervals of time-serially adjacent two R waves extracted by the extraction means; evaluation means which evaluates a measurement state of the instantaneous heart rate calculated by the calculation means to be R wave intervals in accordance with the kind of the respective measurement states of the adjacent two R waves extracted by the extraction means; and color information determination means which determines color information in accordance with the kind of evaluation with respect to the instantaneous heart rate evaluated by the evaluation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
