Provided is an alloy member having a metal oxide film that can be formed at a low cost by a simple method and that can suppress the volatilization of Cr that causes deterioration of a fuel cell as compared with conventional high-cost materials. A method for manufacturing an alloy member, comprising: a coating treatment step of coating Co on a base material of an Fe-Cr alloy; and an oxidation treatment step of the base material in a humid atmosphere after the coating treatment step.
