PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device of a vertical opening/closing type door in which lock release can be performed by a one hand operation.SOLUTION: A lock device of a vertical opening/closing type door of the invention comprises: a pair of penetration holes 29 formed on both side parts of a door 21; a pair of displacement members 66 on which a cam groove 70 is formed and which are attached to lock pins 63; a pair of holding rods 62 penetrating the penetration holes 29, each of which is configured so that one end side is attached to a handle rod 61 and the other end side contacts the cam groove 70; and a holding rod rotation shaft 67 attached to the door 21 and holding the holding rods 62 rotatably. When the handle rod 61 is operated upward or downward, the other end side of each holding rod 62 displaces downward or upward, with the holding rod rotation shaft 67 as a rotation fulcrum, and when the other end side of each holding rod 62 displaces in a state in which each holding rod 62 contacts the cam groove 70, the displacement members 66 displace in a lateral direction, and by displacement of the displacement members 66, the lock pins 63 are released from engagement parts 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
