CORRECTION METHOD OF GHOST IMAGE RESULTING FROM COLOR SEPARATION OPTICAL SYSTEM AND IMAGE PICK-UP DEVICE, AND IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGING APPARATUS
To solve such a problem that the picture quality deteriorates because an effective picture quality improvement method by image processing is not proposed conventionally, for the ghost resulting from color separation optical system or an image pick-up device.SOLUTION: In a state where a high luminance light source is placed in an imaging area or on the outside thereof, input image data is taken in (S201) by using an imaging system with a built-in color separation prism, various ghost images resulting from a color separation optical system or an image pick-up device is acquired for R/G/B color components for each imaging condition, and pre-registered as reference data (S202). Pre-registered various reference data are searched by pattern matching (S203), and recognition determination is made whether or not there is a ghost image (S204).
