To provide a production method of glass tube capable of reducing a residual stress of a glass tube in grazing processing, a processing apparatus of an end face of a glass tube, and a glass tube.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus 1 of an end face of a glass tube is equipped with a preheating source 5 for preheating an end face 3 of a glass tube 2 and a main heating source 6 for mainly heating the end face 3 of the glass tube 2 after preheating. The preheating source 5 is composed of a laser which emits a beam having a Gaussian distribution. The main heating source 6 is composed of a laser which emits, for example, a line beam.
