To provide an easily handleable and usable winnow having no risk of dropping during a seeding work, when being used as a seed box, capable of reducing a load imposed on a user's arm, and reducing concentration of pressing force of a side wall part applied to a body.SOLUTION: A winnow includes a bottom plate part 1, a side wall part 2 erected along right and left side edge parts of the bottom plate part 1, and a rear wall part 3 erected along a rear edge part of the bottom plate part 1, and is formed in a shape having a constriction part 4 formed in such an arc shape that an outer edge shape of the side wall part 2 is projected inward, and is provided with a string locking part 5 on at least two spots on one front side of the side wall part 2 and on the other rear side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
