To prevent products stored in a product storage unit and POP tags mounted in the POP tag mounting part from being hard to be seen due to the provision of a night cover 15 in a flat showcase with the night cover.SOLUTION: A flat open showcase 1 has a box-type body case 3 formed of an opening 4 in the upper part and formed of a product storage unit 5 inside, a cross-sectional U-shaped cool air passage 6 formed along an inner circumference of the body case 3, a cool air outlet 7 formed in the upper part of one end side of the cool air passage 6, and a cool air inlet 8 formed in the upper part of the other end side of the cool air passage 6. A night cover storage unit 14 is provided in which a night cover 15 rounded into a roll is stored in a nosing 12 for covering the upper part of the cool air outlet 7 or the cool air inlet 8 so as to be drawn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
