To provide an IPv6 network system capable of performing of IPv4 network connection by an IPv6 migration technology without complicated setting by a user.SOLUTION: A setting management server 200 disposed on an IPv6 network 500 has a function that acquires IPv4 connection setting information necessary for connection to an IPv4 network 600 from an IPv6 migration connection setting management table 42 and distributes the information to the request source by using a IPv6 migration technology specified so as to be usable by an HGW apparatus 100 of the request source, which is acquired from a IPv6 migration technology management table 41, and the HGW apparatus 100 connected to the IPv6 network 500 has a function that makes an acquisition request to the setting management server 200 by IPv4 connection setting request means 12 and acquires the transmitted IPv4 connection setting information by the IPv6 migration technology regarding the HGW apparatus 100 by IPv4 connection setting acquisition means 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
