A method of manufacturing the medical optical composite cable includes a step of forming the assembled wire 103 by assembling the optical fiber 101 and the soluble yarn 102, a step of spirally winding the electric wire 104 around the assembled wire 103, and a step of dissolving and removing the soluble yarn 102.
