To provide a lengthy body support device capable of reading information without positioning an information location unit and an image capturing unit of image capturing means so as to face each other.SOLUTION: A lengthy body support device 20 includes support means 21 for supporting a support object SJ in which a lengthy body RS is wound around an outer peripheral surface HP1 of a hollow tube HP, and a reading unit 22 for reading predetermined information BC provided on an inner peripheral surface HP2 of the hollow tube HP.
