PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table design support device, a table design support method and a program which can prevent an error from occurring in a table design work of a relational database management system (RDBMS) even when the scale of a record set provided by another person becomes large in the table design work.SOLUTION: A table design support device 1 comprises: a delimiter character candidate detection unit 2 which detects a character for appropriately dividing a record set provided by another person; a record division unit 3 which divides the record set by the delimiter character received from the delimiter character candidate detection unit 2 and generates a divided record set; a field analysis unit 4 which analyzes each divided record in the divided record set about a storable data type and constraint and generates an analysis result file set; and an analysis result combination unit 5 which combines the analysis result file set and generates a table definition candidate storable in the RDBMS.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
