To provide a cost management apparatus for managing costs of an event occurring in an image forming apparatus with a method convenient for a user.SOLUTION: A cost management apparatus according to the present invention has a control circuit serving as an event acquiring unit for acquiring information relating one or more events that occurred at one or more image forming devices, and as a sum value calculating unit for calculating, with respect to each of a plurality of users of the one or more events, the sum of costs incurred for the one or more events that occurred at the one or more image forming devices, based on unit prices different depending on each of the plurality of users.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
