METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SECRET CALCULATION OF SPARSE CODING AND PROGRAM

To provide a secret calculation method for sparse coding, in which a large number of widely spread application software can be utilized directly by assuming usage at the edge/cloud and protection of user privacy is taken into consideration, and also to provide a secret calculation device for the sparse coding and a program.SOLUTION: In a secret calculation method, when M-dimensional observation signal vector y can be expressed as y=Dx using a sparse factor x of K-pieces of basis dictionary matrixes D and K-dimensional vector, the predetermined dictionary matrix D is concealed using a random unitary matrix to be converted to the secret dictionary matrix D^, the observation signal vector y is concealed using the random unitary matrix to be converted to a secret observation signal y^, and the sparse factor x is estimated by solving an optimization problem with orthogonal matching pursuit using the secret observation signal y^ and the secret dictionary matrix D^.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
