A streamlined method for displaying advertising content in a mobile environment utilized device detection and smartlinks to minimize the number of steps necessary for an end user to select and store a pass or similar marketing device. In various exemplary embodiments, a single click on a banner advertisement allows the user to initiate an application, program, protocol or the like that stores the pass or similar marketing device in the particular type of digital wallet used by the end user.
