One or more implementations of the present specification provide a blockchain-based electronic bill cancellation method, apparatus, and an electronic device. The blockchain stores electronic bills. The method includes, in response to detecting a cancellation transaction that is corresponding to a target electronic bill and that is broadcasted to the blockchain, determining whether the target electronic bill has been accounted; if the target electronic bill has not been accounted, updating the target electronic bill to a cancelled state; or if the target electronic bill has been accounted, broadcasting a reversed bill corresponding to the target electronic bill to the blockchain for storage.
