The connector support assembly may include a base, a first securing member, and a second securing member. The first and/or second securing members is movable, and is configured to be moved between an open position in which a mating connector of the electrical connector is positioned between the first and second securing members, and a clamped position in which the mating connector is securely clamped between the first and second securing members.
