the present invention relates to a method of solubilizing multi-walled carbon nanotubes with high long-term stability, which involves exfoliating the carbon nanotubes using polyvinyl pyrrolidone and treatment by sonication and centrifugation. the present invention also deals with the method of activating solubilized multiple-walled carbon nanotubes, as well as their uses as biomolecules.
