the present invention deals with the process of obtaining biodegradable and bioactive material based on cassava starch, pectin, sucrose, inverted sugar and jucá extracts, which may be in the form of flexible film, film, (micro and nano) capsule and micro- encapsulated, with application in the area of food and cosmetics. the differential of this invention is based on the manufacture of an unprecedented, natural, edible and biodegradable product, in order to serve consumers who seek a balance between food safety and the environment. the methodology developed in the elaboration of the invention is simple and low cost, easily produced by industries, cooperatives and small companies. more specifically, the material proposed in the present invention can be used as a coating, edible packaging, bioactive film, biofilm and active packaging, containing natural preservative with antioxidant properties, showing significant satisfactory character to the control of oxidative degradation in lipid products. in addition to being an alternative active biodegradable material to replace synthetic assets, as it does not leave toxic residues and does not cause damage to the environment, promoting an increase in shelf life, with lower rates of preservatives in the packaged product.
