the embodiments of the present application reveal a consensus method and device based on a trust protocol. a trusted protocol node includes a first server, a second server, and at least one database. the method includes: storing, through the database, consensus data necessary for carrying out a consensus procedure, in which consensus data is invoked by the first server and the second server during the consensus procedure; obtain, by the second server instead of the first server, consensus data from the database and execute the consensus procedure based on the consensus data to generate a consensus result, in response to the determination that the first server has defect before the consensus procedure or during the consensus procedure; and store, by the second server, the consensus result in the database. according to the embodiments of the present invention, a normal server on a node can obtain, instead of a defective server, consensus data from a database to perform the consensus procedure. it ensures the normal execution of the consensus procedure and can, to some extent, improve the success rate of a consensus procedure, thereby improving the efficiency of the service processing of a trusted protocol.
