the present invention refers to extracellular vesicles (evs) as an innovative therapeutic approach for lysosomal storage diseases (lsd). more specifically, the invention relates to the use of several genetic protein modification strategies to improve the loading of difficult-to-carry lsd-related proteins and the targeting of the resulting evs in tissues and organs of interest.
