The present application for an invention patent is a self-service system for the automatic sale of various products in supermarkets and similar establishments, as well as a method for the automatic sale of products. it is a practical, innovative and secure system that brings confidence, both for the buyer and for the seller establishment, providing speed in the purchase procedure, ease of access for customers and guarantees against possible fraud. the products purchased are fully monitored and checked by a monitoring center connected to high-precision digital scales that compare the weight of products in relation to their reference code and also a verification system that compares the image of the product being acquired with the archive image. the customer chooses what he wants to buy at shopping stations equipped with two scales (5) and (10), camera (4), video monitor (1), infrared barrier (8), sealer (9), card scanner barcode scanner (3) and barcode scanner (2). after initial steps, the weight recorded on the scale (5) and the image generated on the camera (4) are checked and then the product must be transferred to the plastic bag at the second station, where the weight is checked on the scale (10) and subsequent sealing of the plastic bag.
