continuous process for fractionation of lignocellulosic biomass to cellulosic ethanol and chemical production a process is defined for the pre-treatment of continuous steam and fractionation of corn cobs and biomass of low cellulosic lignin to produce a flow of solid concentrated cellulose composed of hydrolysis and products degradation of hemicellulose. Cellulosic-derived glucose is produced by fermentation using bio-fuels. a hemicellulose concentrate is recovered so that it can be converted into value added products including ethanol.
