Highly porous material intended for sorption and long-term desorption of bioactive substances in cosmetics, human and veterinary medicine, packaging technology and agriculture consists of polymers and / or copolymers of one or more substances from the group consisting of lactic acid, chitosan, citric acid, diethylenetriamine-pentaacetic acid . Its open hydrophilic structure with a porosity of 50 to 90% by weight. it has a sorption capacity of 100 to 300% by weight, a tensile strength of 1.5 to 4 MPa and dimensional stability in a liquid medium, the material being biocompatible and fully degradable. The solution also concerns the method of its preparation.
