The invention also concerns an imaging device (1) that estimates the position of the objects sought in the image. The device (1) consists of a digital camera (2) and a computing part (3). The digital camera (2) contains the adaptive circuits (4) of the analogue CCD or CMOS part and the communication interface (5) for the transmission of digitised dat a and the computing part (3) consists of a unit (7) of data processing with a CPU, an evaluation and diagnostic module (8),interface (9) for contact with the environment, control and control module (10) and external module (11) with a separate computing core and memory.
