A method of using a device (201) for in-vitro modelling in-vivo tissues of organs, the device (201) comprising a first body portion (207) with at least one access chamber (213), a second body portion (205) with at least one culturing chamber (221), and a culturing membrane (206) dividing the at least one access chamber (213) from the culturing chamber (221). The method comprises the steps of: incubating cells by providing the cells on top of a first side of the culturing membrane (206) until the cells attach to the culturing membrane (206); flipping the first body portion (207) and the second body portion (205) together with the culturing membrane (206) by about 180°; and incubating further cells by providing the further cells on top of a second side of the culturing membrane (206) until the further cells attach to the culturing membrane (206).
