METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF DUODENAL DIVERTICULUM

The invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical gastroenterology and can be used in diagnostics and treatment of gastric and duodenal diverticula. The objective of the proposed method is to improve the treatment of diverticula due to use of more advanced, optimum diagnostic and surgical methods. The method for treating duodenal diverticulum means that during the surgery, fibrous margins of the muscle fold formed in the muscular layer are to be found, and the proximal and distal points of diverticulum are located in the longitudinal direction, then crimping sutures are applied, passing through the serous layer and muscular-fibrous ring, the entry of diverticulum is fixed and threads of crimping sutures are taken aside, at that time the fundus and body of diverticulum takes on a form of undulate layers, after that, sutures are applied in the transverse direction with inclusion of both edges of the serous-fibrous ring, the sutures pass through the wave-like folds of diverticulum fundus and body at a distance of 0.5 cm from each other up to complete diverticulum elimination.
