Cosmetic compositions are widely used to obtain certain benefits, such as, for example, anti-aging, brightening and moisturizing effect on the skin. These benefits are provided by agents (active substances), such as, for example, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and resorcinol, phenylethylresorcinol and 4-alkyl substituted resorcinol. However, these active substances have a certain shelf life, after which they tend to degrade in terms of chemical activity and / or their color stability. The present invention discloses a new method for the preparation of cosmetic compositions that improve the color stability of resorcinol, phenylethylresorcinol and 4-alkyl-substituted resorcinol, and compositions containing such active substances, upon receipt in accordance with the specified method.
