The invention relates to methods for measurement of geophysical parameters of rocks using lulsed neutron gamma logging equipment. The technical result of the invention is possibility of simultaneous measurement of rock density and porosity. The technical result is achieved by provision of a method wherein the near and remote gamma detector count relationships are calculated separately for counts obtained during neutron pulses RIN and in intervals between them RRC, calibration functions for density RINcorr() and porosity RRCcorr(p) are preliminary defined as linear functions of density and porosity p, respectively, calibration factors k and m included in RINcorr() and RRCcorr(p) as well as constants a and b are calculated, RINcorr and RRCcorr are calculated by means of correction of RIN and RRC using the received calibration functions, density and porosity p of rocks are calculated using the following equations: =(RINcorr-a)/k, p=(RRCcorr-b)/m.
