The invention relates to the field of medicine and provides a modified radioligand method for quantitative assessment of -adrenoreceptor (-AR) binding activity on human T-lymphocyte surface which ensures reliable assessment of specific binding with 1- and 2-adrenoreceptors in low concentrations, and can be used for testing during clinical studies. The method includes pre-incubation of a medium containing T-lymphocytes with a ligand specific to 1- and 2-AR with subsequent interaction with [125I]cyanopindolol. The technical result is significant improvement of assay sensitivity in respect of 1-AR binding activity analysis, and the possibility of identification of typical characteristics variation patterns for -AR unit influenced by pre-incubation with specific ligands.
